How do I hire a Realtor? An agency relationship is established thru a written service agreement. For sellers, this is a listing agreement. For buyers, this is a buyer agreement.
How much will having a Realtor cost?
Each licensed real estate agent at Tony Clark Realtors works as an independent contractor. Most real estate agents are paid “fee-contigent” which means your real estate agent earns money only when a real estate contract is complete at closing. The process from listing to closing can mean weeks or even months of work by our Realtors and staff.
Usually, real estate brokers charge a percentage of the profit from a home sale; this percentage is often called a commission. Buyer’s and seller’s agents typically split the commission. As a result, you can think of realtor fees as a marketing expense for the seller.
Realtor Fees includes services rendered, such as:
